PC Hard- & Software Configuration Tool
Pre-order compilation for key account costumers
The scope of work was to design and implement a quote request application for PCs and laptops within the company‘s website. Especially key account customers of the company are enabled to compile their hard and software equipment in this configuration tool. Its dynamic web interface can be administered and maintained by the responsible staff of the SHS GmbH, using a web-based administration tool.
Actions and results
For this project I was responsible for requirements analysis, design and implementation of customer web front end and staff administration tool. Therefore I deployed PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
The SHS Dresden GmbH is an IT business,
offering customized system solutions in the
field of:
- Network planning and assembly,
- Delivery and implementation of servers,
computers, notebooks and components,
- Leasing and rental services for
PC technology.
In 2004 the company has been acquired by the PC-Ware AG. Due to the acquisition the company's own website was replaced.
